Richard C. Adler came to the Forward Foundation from Michigan State University where he was an Electronic Records Archivist. He has an M.S.I. (Archives and Records Management) from the University of Michigan's School of Information and an M.A. in History (medieval Europe) from Harvard. For ten years he was a book buyer and merchandiser for Borders, Inc., with chain-wide responsibility for subject areas such as American history, political science, science fiction, and graphic novels.
